LEADERSHIP SUMMIT CONSORTIUM
MISSION: To promote leadership development in public safety.
GOALS:
* Identify, evaluate, and catalogue existing leadership programs.
* Showcase leadership development programs, i.e. leadership summit.
* Explore and develop new leadership paradigms.
CURRENT STRUCTURE:
Leadership Summit Committee: SCCJA, LEMIT, FCJEI, will operate in the interest of the membership in the interim between meetings and will report to the consortium in a timely fashion.
Strategy – Year One
Agree on membership and consortium structure.
1. Advisory Committee structure:
a. Spears Westbrook serve as Chairperson

2. Consortium Membership definition
3. Strategic Steering Group
Establish effective communication and participation amongst members.
1. Agree on meeting and communication schedule.
2. Develop List serve for enhanced communication
3. Website development.
Establish outcomes to be delivered during the first year.
1. Everyone who registered or attended the first summit will be designated a founding member.
2. To conduct another leadership summit within the next 12 to 18 months with increased participation and attendance.
3. Commence a directory of leadership development programs and contacts.
4. To develop a research and development capacity.
5. To establish operating protocols for membership and budgetary implications.
6. Scope out the existence of any other associations with the similar mission in the US.
7. Explore partnership opportunities.

1. To expand the membership pool.
